Through our transport policy, we ensure the sustainable mobility of the population and enable the supply to the economy. We strive to improve mobility, accessibility and traffic safety, while reducing energy consumption, costs for users and operators, and negative effects on the environment. Slovenia’s vision is to further develop its transport infrastructure and thus exploit the competitive advantages arising from its geographical position, which is favourable to transport, and from the country’s natural and cultural features. In the field of energy policy, our primary objective is to provide a reliable energy supply and increase energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy.
