  • World No Tobacco Day: Tobacco also endangers the environment

    World No Tobacco Day is commemorated on 31 May. This year’s focus is on the harmful effects of tobacco on the environment under the slogan, Tobacco: Threat to Our Environment. To this end, the Ministry of Health together with the National Institute of Public Health, the WHO Regional Office for Europe and non-governmental organisations involved in tobacco today organised a national symposium on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day.

    V skladu s priporočili Strokovne svetovalne skupine ministra za zdravje za zajezitev in obvladovanje epidemije in glede na ugodnejšo epidemiološko sliko in značilnosti različice Omikron, se ukinja pogoj PCT (prebolevnosti, cepljenja oziroma testiranja) za obiskovalce in uporabnike v zdravstveni dejavnosti in socialnem varstvu.   • EUR 6.8 million in React-EU funding for intermediate care department in Maribor

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funds for the project COVID19 – Provision of premises for Intermediate Care Department of University Medical Centre Maribor. The EUR 8.9 million project that will be implemented by the Ministry of Health will receive a substantial contribution from the European Regional Development Fund under the React-EU initiative, i.e. EUR 6.8 million. This year alone, Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy approved EUR 66 million to help strengthen Slovenia's health sector.
