    Prime Minister Janez Janša visited the Bank of Slovenia today. The visit was part of the celebration of 30th anniversary of the Bank of Slovenia, and the Prime Minister received a gold medal issued on the occasion. The Bank of Slovenia was established on 25 June 1991 with the adoption of the Bank of Slovenia Act. Its first task was to establish an independent currency – the tolar.

The meeting with the Prime Minister was attended by Aleksander Hribovšek, the president of the association, and Anže Hobič, a member of the association's executive board. They discussed the association's work, the role it has in Slovenian society and the proposal for the national symbols act that was drafted by the association to regulate this field in a more systematic and transparent manner.
