Successor states sign a contract for joint sale of real estate of the former SFRY Mission to the United Nations
On 9 March 2022, the successor states of the former Social Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) signed a contract in New York for the joint sale of the real estate of the former SFRY Mission to the United Nations at 854 Fifth Avenue for $50 million in the most advantageous offer.

On 23 December 2021, the core group of State Secretaries discussed and approved the draft of the upgraded Smart Specialisation Strategy. Interested stakeholders and opinion givers were then invited to submit their proposals, questions and positions regarding the document by 2 February 2022.

Minister Logar at the ministerial meeting of the International Coalition for the Sahel
Foreign Minister Anže Logar attended the third ministerial meeting of the International Coalition for the Sahel via video conference. Minister Logar outlined that Slovenia was very concerned about the escalation and spread of violence and the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Sahel.

Prime Minister Janez Janša today attended the ceremony to mark the unveiling of the bust of Dr Jože Pučnik, which took place in front of the Brdo Congress Centre at Brdo pri Kranju. He was the keynote speaker at the ceremony. The participants at the ceremony were also addressed by the Minister of Culture, Vasko Simoniti. Prime Minister Janša, together with Dr Jože Pučnik’s son, Gorazd Pučnik, unveiled the bust.

In a documentary entitled "Dr Jože Pučnik – The 90th anniversary of his birth", Prime Minister Janez Janša, together with other partners in the process of Slovenian independence, spoke about a giant of the Slovenian political sphere – Dr Jože Pučnik. The documentary commemorating the 90th anniversary of the birth of Dr Jože Pučnik was broadcast on the first channel of Televizija Slovenija on 8 March 2022.

State Secretary attends meeting of Development Council of Vzhodna Slovenija cohesion region
State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs and representatives of the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy today attended the fourth regular meeting of the Development Council of the Vzhodna Slovenija cohesion region dedicated to the programming period 2021-2027. Today, Prime Minister Janez Janša was on a working visit in the northern part of the Osrednjeslovenska statistical region. The Government paid a visit to 11 municipalities, namely Kamnik, Komenda, Vodice, Medvode, Mengeš, Trzin, Domžale, Dol pri Ljubljani, Moravče, Lukovica and Ljubljana.

Extraordinary FAC on the situation in Ukraine
Foreign Minister Anže Logar attended the extraordinary meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) in Brussels, led by the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell. The meeting was concentrated on the Russian military aggression in Ukraine and the assessment of the effects of the sanctions taken against the Russian Federation.
