In Chișinău, Prime Minister Robert Golob attended the second meeting of the European Political Community (EPC), hosted by the President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu.

"Our main promise we gave to the people when we were elected was that we would live in a normal country again. That means a functioning rule of law, democracy and an open society. We have delivered on that promise," Prime Minister Robert Golob said on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of the Government. Together with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Tanja Fajon and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Luka Mesec, they summarised the work of the Government so far.

Prime Minister dr. Robert Golob visited the Ministry of Defence, where he was greeted with military honours.

Today, Prime Minister dr. Robert Golob received the European Commissioner for Budget and Administration, Johannes Hahn, who is currently visiting member states.

Prime Minister Robert Golob and deputies of the Italian and Hungarian national communities, Felice Žiža and Ferenc Horváth, today formalised their cooperation by signing an agreement.

At the 4th meeting of the Strategic Council for the Prevention of Hate Speech, the members discussed the area of prevention. They concluded that hate speech is a complex phenomenon, the prevention of which should extend to various areas of social activity. It has to be acknowledged that hate speech is both a cause and a consequence of violence, and the answer to it is the establishment of tolerant and supportive communities.

The 6th meeting of the Strategic Council for Nutrition was held today, 10 May 2023, to discuss the Nutritional Guidelines for Educational Institutions.

At today’s forum, where 125 demands were presented by representatives of crafts and entrepreneurship, the Prime Minister gave assurances that the Government will take all measures on the basis of an ongoing dialogue. “This dialogue must be continuous, because only through dialogue can we arrive at better solutions,” stressed dr. Golob.

In the context of regular dialogue and good mutual cooperation, Prime Minister Robert Golob and President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar met today.

On the occasion of today's municipality holiday of Ljubljana – Hero City, the Prime Minister, Robert Golob, attended a formal session of the Ljubljana Municipality Council, where the highest awards of the City of Ljubljana were presented, including the titles of Honorary Citizen of the City of Ljubljana.
