  • EU funding for a cycling connection in Murska Sobota

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved funding for the project ITI Arrangement of cycling connections in Urban Municipality Murska Sobota – Phase 2 – Cohesion Fund. The project implemented by the Urban Municipality Murska Sobota is worth EUR 1.3 million with the Cohesion Fund contribution standing at EUR 601 thousand.

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project Wastewater collection and treatment in the Upper Sava River basin – Municipality Tržič. The project implemented by the municipality Tržič under the Agreement on the Development of the Gorenjska region is worth EUR 10.4 million with the Cohesion Fund contribution standing at EUR 2.5 million.

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project Pameče 3 Business Zone expansion. The project worth EUR 2.3 million will be implemented by the Urban Municipality Slovenj Gradec under the Agreement on the development of the Koroška region and will receive nearly EUR 1.3 million of European Regional Development Fund support.

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved funding for the project Agreement on the development of region: Medvode-Pirniče-Vikrče cycling connection. The project worth EUR 2.2 million will be implemented by the Municipality of Medvode under the Agreement on the development of the Osrednjeslovenska region and will receive EUR 912 thousand of European Regional Development Fund support.

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project Business infrastructure in the Industrial and Small Business Zone Neverke. The project worth a good EUR 1 million will be implemented by the Municipality of Pivka under the Agreement on the development of the Primorsko-notranjska region and will receive EUR 709 thousand of European Regional Development Fund support.

The project worth EUR 1 million will be implemented by the Municipality of Ljutomer under the Agreement on the development of the Pomurje region and will receive EUR 355 thousand of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • EU funding for a new business-economic zone in Nova Gorica

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project New construction of a business-economic zone Nova Gorica-Kronberk. The EUR 5.9 million project will be implemented by Urban Municipality Nova Gorica under the Agreement on the development of the Goriška region and supported by the EU, with the contribution from the European Regional Development Fund standing at nearly EUR 2 million.

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project Agreement on the development of region: Tolmin-Modrej. The project worth EUR 3.4 million will be implemented by the Slovenian Infrastructure Agency under the Agreement on the development of the Goriška region and will receive EUR 2.1 million of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • EU funding for a cycling connection in municipalities Radlje ob Dravi and Podvelka

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project Agreement on the development of region: the Drava cycling connection in the area of the Municipality Radlje ob Dravi and the Municipality Pdvelka, section Vas-Brezno. The project worth EUR 3.9 million will be implemented by the Slovenian Infrastructure Agency under the Agreement on the development of the Koroška region and will receive a good EUR 1 million of European Regional Development Fund support.

  • EU funding for improving drinking water supply in Slovenj Gradec

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project Improving supply of safe drinking water in Urban Municipality Slovenj Gradec. The EUR 4.5 million environmental infrastructure project will be implemented by Urban Municipality Slovenj Gradec under the Agreement on the development of the Koroška region and supported by the EU, with the contribution from the Cohesion Fund standing at over EUR 2.5 million.

  • EU funding for a cycling connection between Ajdovčina and Lokavec

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project Agreement on the development of region - Slovenian Infrastructure Agency: Ajdovščina-Lokavec. The EUR 2.4 million cycle project that will be implemented by the Slovenian Infrastructure Agency under the Agreement on the development of the Goriška region will be supported by the EU, with the contribution from the European Regional Development Fund standing at EUR 534,000.

  • EU funding for a cycling connection between Kokrica and Brdo

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the project Agreement on the development of region: Kokrica-Brdo. The EUR 362,000 cycle project will be implemented by Urban Municipality Kranj under the Agreement on the development of the Gorenjska region and supported by the EU, with the contribution from the European Regional Development Fund standing at EUR 155,000.

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Programme Operator for the programme Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation has published a Call for proposals for co-financing of projects under the programme Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation in today's Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No 74/2021. Applicants with project proposals that contribute to increasing the production of energy from renewable energy sources, improving the management of sustainable mobility, implementing the principles of circular economy and improving the management of ecosystems under increasing pressure due to climate change are invited to apply for funding.

Applicants with project proposals that promote institutional cooperation at all levels of formal and informal education, contribute to improving the supportive environment for disadvantaged target groups and to improving work-life balance are invited to apply for funding.

  • Slovenia hands over Presidency of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region to Albania

    The 6th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) closed today in Izola, Slovenia. This year's edition of the Forum was held under Slovenian Presidency in a hybrid format due to the epidemiological situation. At the plenary closing session wrapping up the two-day event State Secretary Monika Kirbiš Rojs and Head of Unit Macro-regions at the European Commission Jean-Pierre Halkin symbolically handed over the Presidency of EUSAIR to Albania.

  • EU funding for upgrading cycling route between Naklo and Kranj municipalities

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved funding for the project “DRR – Kranj-Naklo-Zadraga”. The project implemented by municipality Naklo under the Agreement on the Development of the Gorenjska Region is worth EUR 379 thousand with the European Regional Development Fund contribution standing at EUR 249 thousand.

  • Coming soon: Call for project proposals in the field of education under Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy is pleased to announce the upcoming ‘Call for proposals for co-financing of projects under the programme Education, Scholarships, Apprenticeship and Youth Entrepreneurship’, a programme supported and implemented under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021. The call is to be published on 14 May 2021 in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia. The available funding under the call will amount to EUR 11.3 million. The project grant rate will be up to 100% of total eligible expenditures of a project.
