  • EU funding for wastewater collection and treatment in Dravinja basin

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant decision for the project “Wastewater collection and treatment in the Dravinja basin – Municipality Rače-Fram”. The project is worth a little under EUR 5 million and will receive European Regional Development Fund support in the amount of almost EUR 1.4 million.

  • EU funding for support environment for culture-related activities

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant decision for the call for proposals “Support environment for culture-related activities 2020” to be published next Friday by the Ministry of Culture. The call for proposals worth a little under EUR 742,000 will receive European Social Fund support in the amount of over EUR 593,000.

    State Secretary dr. Nevenka Ribič attended the 3rd conference “Programme of projects eSpace” which focused on the 3-year programme implementation period and the presentation of the achievements and results of the project in the field of spatial management, construction and real-estate management. In her address the State Secretary underlined the fact that the projects contribute to our development and that such projects are also welcomed in the next financial perspective.

  • Over EUR 8 million of EU support for research infrastructure investments

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for three projects in the field of developing research infrastructure for enhancing the international competitiveness of the Slovenian RDI field, namely SI-LifeWatch, RI-SI-EATRIS and RI-SI-ELIXIR. European Regional Development Fund contribution for all three projects amounts to EUR 8.4 million.

  • EU funding for material and energy efficiency of tourism-related companies

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the call for proposals “Support for micro, small and medium-sized tourism-related companied to enhance their material and energy efficiency” to be published by Ministry of Economic Development and Technology on Friday. The total European Regional Development Fund support available under the call for proposals stands at EUR 21.5 million of which EUR 18 million will be allocated to cohesion region Vzhodna Slovenija and EUR 3.5 million to cohesion region Zahodna Slovenija.

  • EU funding for improving economic activity in Metlika

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the project “Zone at Pild – stage 2”. The project worth EUR 1.4 million will receive European Regional Development Fund support in the amount of EUR 375,000.

  • EU funding for expanding the business infrastructure in Ajdovščina

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, Managing Authority for EU Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant decision for the project Expansion of the business-economic infrastructure in the Business Zone Ajdovščina – Pod železnico 3. The project is worth a good EUR 645,000 with the European Regional Development Fund contribution amounting to EUR 245,000.

  • EU funding for housing communities for vulnerable groups in Murska Sobota

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, Managing Authority for ESIF and Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant decision for the project “Housing communities for vulnerable groups”. The project is worth over EUR 517,000 and will receive over EUR 196,000 of Regional Development Fund support in the frame of Integrated Territorial Investments (ITS) instrument.

  • EU funding for housing development in Celje

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, Managing Authority for EU Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the project Housing development the Dečkovo naselje settlement. The project worth a good EUR 13.5 million will receive over EUR 4.6 million of European Regional Development Fund support under the integrated territorial investments (ITI) mechanism.

  • Financial Instruments for Innovation

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, partner in INNOVA-FI project, participated at workshop on the topic of the role of financial instruments (FIs) in the regional ecosystem and territorial cohesion that took place during the European Week of Regions and Cities on Thursday, October 10, at Brussels Convention Centre. The session was organized as a joint effort of Startup Europe Regions Network (SERN) and ESPON.

  • European Social Fund helps build vocational skills in Slovenia

    European Vocational Skills Week wrapped up today. A series of events and activities took place across Europe to highlight the benefits of vocational education and training and vocational skills development. The aim of the week, organised annually by the European Commission, is to improve visibility and recognition of vocational education and training (VET) and offer the relevant actors a chance to engage in dialogue. Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for the ESF, the ERDF and the Cohesion Fund, has already approved EUR 40.5 million in ESF funding for programmes and calls for proposals aiming to promote vocational education and training in Slovenia.

  • EU funding for wastewater collection and treatment in the Meža river basin

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for the ERDF, the ESF and the Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant decision for the project ‘’Wastewater collection and treatment in the Meža river basin in Municipality Črna na Koroškem’’. Total project budget stands at EUR 3.8 million; the project will receive EUR 1.6 million funding from the ERDF.

  • EU funding for strengthening the competences of young people

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant decision for the call for proposals ''Strengthening the competences of young people through active citizenship to increase their employability’’ which is to be published by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport. The funding made available under the call for proposals stands at over EUR 2 million, of which EUR 1.6 million comes from ESF. Cohesion region Zahodna Slovenija will receive EUR 1.2 million of the available funding, while cohesion region Vzhodna Slovenija is to get a little under EUR 837,000.

  • EU funding for Borl Castle and for improving the conservation status of the Drava River

    Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, has issued grant decisions for two projects promoting conservation of natural and cultural heritage in the Drava River basin, which fall in the scope of the Natura 2000 Management Programme. Both project budgets amount to over EUR 8.2 million; the projects will receive a contribution of EUR 6.5 million from ERDF (European Regional Development Fund).

  • Government takes note of the Report on the Implementation of EU Cohesion Policy 2014–2020 in the Period January 2014-June 2019

    The latest Report on the Implementation of EU Cohesion Policy in the Period January 2014-June 2019 and the Report on the Implementation of the Action Plan to Accelerate the Spending under the Operational Programme for the Implementation of EU Cohesion Policy in the Period 2014-2020 were presented to Slovenian Government. The Government will submit the documents to the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia.

This year’s celebration is held under the theme ‘’The Journey to Age Equality’’ and is aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 10. The project funding amounts to a total of EUR 2.6 million, of which nearly EUR 1.4 million comes from ERDF.
