Minister Fajon at the EU Foreign Ministers' Meeting and the European Humanitarian Forum in Brussels
Minister Tanja Fajon took part in a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels to discuss the alarming situation in the Middle East, Russian aggression against Ukraine and the deteriorating human rights situation in Belarus. She also participated in the third edition of the European Humanitarian Forum, where she presented Slovenia's humanitarian response to the growing number of crises around the world.

Slovenia hands over the third ambulance to Ukraine
Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Ukraine Mateja Prevolšek handed over a modern C-type ambulance, equipped with an incubator for the transportation of new-born and premature babies, to Olena Yaroschuk, Acting Director of Maternity Hospital No. 5 in Kyiv, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Ihor Kopach.

Development Ministers on Gaza, human rights and the future of development cooperation
EU development ministers held an informal meeting in Brussels under the Belgian Presidency of the EU Council to discuss EU development cooperation for the coming years, human rights mainstreaming and the situation in Gaza. The Slovenian Development Days, an event which shines a spotlight on the importance and achievements of development cooperation and humanitarian action to the Slovenian public, will take place between 2 and 6 October in Ljubljana. For the first time, the event will also feature the launch of the Slovenian Humanitarian Forum.

UNIDO and the Government of Slovenia sign a Roadmap for Cooperation
Following the 30th anniversary celebration of Slovenia’s membership to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), UNIDO Director General Gerd Müller and the Slovenian Minister of Economic Development and Technology Matjaž Han signed a Roadmap for Cooperation.
