The Service for the Investigation of Aircraft Accidents and Military Aircraft Incidents represents the professional core of the Permanent Commission for the Investigation of Aircraft Accidents and Military Aircraft Incidents. The Commission is the aviation investigation body of the Ministry of Defence responsible for the investigation of accidents or incidents involving Slovenian military aircraft in the Republic of Slovenia and abroad and military aircraft of other states occurring in the airspace or on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia.
