The Internal Audit Service conducts internal audits and provides advisory services, thereby ensuring the successful performance of the Ministry’s tasks and responsibilities.

Its work includes auditing business processes and procedures in the Ministry’s organisational units, including bodies within the Ministry. In this process, the Internal Audit Service assesses whether the Ministry’s objectives will be achieved and risks appropriately managed. It provides objective advice to management at all levels and employees, encouraging them to work towards continuous improvement.
