Prime Minister Golob meets with the commander of U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa and of the Allied Joint Force Command in Naples
Prime Minister Robert Golob today received Admiral Stuart Munsch, the commander of U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa, and of the new Allied Joint Force Command in Naples. They discussed the situation in the Western Balkans and the importance of NATO's KFOR mission for the stability of Kosovo and the wider region.
Prime Minister Golob and Admiral Munsch also touched upon the upcoming NATO Summit in Washington, NATO's regional plans for the allied northern, central and southern regions, which includes Slovenia, as well as the fulfilment of capability objectives.
They discussed bilateral defence cooperation between Slovenia and the USA, highlighting the long-standing partnership between the Slovenian Armed Forces and the Colorado National Guard. This partnership has always been and still is very important for the Slovenian side in its development and interoperability.
