On behalf of School of Slavonic and East European Studies at the University College London, you are kindly invited to the seminar that will examine the political profile of Dr. Anton Korošec, one of the leading Slovene politicians in Yugoslavia in the 1918-40 period.

A pragmatic politician and a master of parliamentary tactics, Korošec was elected member of a number of Yugoslav governments and was key advocator of Slovenes' national autonomy within the framework of a Yugoslav state.

Part of UCL SSEES Central Europe Seminar Series that aim to promote research and teaching on the history, languages, literature, political culture, music, arts and society of those lands once part of the Habsburg Monarchy and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth from the Middle Ages to the present, as well as on German-speaking Europe and the Baltic.
