Roundtable at the 6th World Bee Day: Bee Engaged in Pollinator-Friendly Agricultural Production

At international level, the major event of this year’s World Bee Day will be organised by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

At the Roundtable called: “Bee Engaged in Pollinator-Friendly Agricultural Production”, experts from all regions of the World will participate, presenting the different beekeeping methods, and the great diversity of bees and wild pollinators. This year’s topic is addressing the contribution of beekeepers and the role of bees and other wild pollinators in improving food security, improving the livelihoods, and securing the eco-systemic services in agriculture. The audience at the event will be addressed by the President of the Republic of Slovenija, Dr Nataša Pirc Musar.
