MED9 Leaders’ Summit

Where Portorož, Slovenia
At the summit ahead of the October European Council meeting, the heads of states and governments of MED9 countries will gather to discuss current EU issues and priorities for the Slovenian MED 9 Presidency.

The expected outcome of the meeting is the adoption of a joint MED9 declaration.

  • Slovenian Presidency of MED9

    In 2025, Slovenia holds the Presidency of the MED9 Group, an informal group of nine like-minded Mediterranean EU Member States. During its Presidency, Slovenia will host the MED9 Heads of State Summit and several ministerial-level meetings.
