Slovenian President signs decree on appointment of Ambassador to Greece

On 12 July, the President of the Republic of Slovenia signed a decree on the appointment of Matjaž Longar as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Hellenic Republic.
Matjaž Longar has been employed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1993, and he currently serves as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Portuguese Republic resident in Ljubljana. During his career, he has also served as Head of the Accounting and Finance Service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Secretary at the Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad, and Consul General of the Republic of Slovenia in Klagenfurt.
