Slovenian President signs decree on appointment of Ambassador to Portugal

On 19 August, the President of the Republic of Slovenia signed a decree on the appointment of Blažka Kepic as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Portuguese Republic resident in Ljubljana.
Blažka Kepic has been employed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1995 and was, until recently, Head of the Department for International Organisations. She previously held the posts of Head of the Department for International Development Implementation and Humanitarian Assistance, Deputy Head of Mission at the Permanent Representation of Slovenia to NATO, Head of the Section for the UN, and Deputy Head of Mission at the Permanent Representation of Slovenia to the OSCE. She also served at the Slovenian Embassy in Bonn/Berlin.
