Today Berlin hosted the reception on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, which was attended by State Secretary Dobran Božič on behalf of the Foreign Minister.

In commemorating this important, indeed pivotal, historical event, State Secretary Božič attended a special reception held by German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas to which EU Foreign Ministers and other distinguished guests were invited.
State Secretary Božič was also present at the main anniversary celebration at the Brandenburg Gate, organised by Michael Muller, the Governing Mayor of Berlin, where the keynote speech was given by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
