Today, Janez Janša, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, held a video conference in Brussels with Richard Saynor, the Chief Executive Officer of Sandoz, the generic pharmaceuticals division of Novartis International AG.

The discussion partners spoke about the situation that may be expected with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly relating to supply chains and medicinal products. Richard Saynor, the Chief Executive Officer of Sandoz, and Prime Minister Janša also exchanged commendations for good cooperation during the epidemic.
During their discussion, they also spoke about the business environment with the emphasis on tax legislation in Slovenia, reforms, investment and development, including the importance of the Lek company within the framework of Sandoz and Novartis.
