State Secretary Dovžan with Hungarian State Secretary for EU Affairs

Today, State Secretary Gašper Dovžan hosted János Bóka, State Secretary in charge of EU Affairs at the Hungarian Prime Minister's Office and the new Hungarian Sherpa for EU affairs.
The counterparts exchanged views on topical EU issues, focusing on the preparations for Slovenia's EU Council Presidency in the second half of this year. State Secretary Dovžan outlined Presidency priorities, which include a more effective management of various future crises and enhanced EU cyber resilience and response. During the Presidency, Slovenia will devote particular attention to the Union's autonomy regarding access to medicines and vaccines.
