Prime Minister Janez Janša takes note of the first package of proposals by the Strategic Council for Digitalisation

Today, Prime Minister Janez Janša met with the president of the Strategic Council for Digitalisation, Mark Boris Andrijanič, and the heads of working groups. They presented the course of the Council’s work thus far and welcomed good cooperation with government representatives and external stakeholders.
Council representatives presented their proposal for the first measures related to the digitalisation of public administration, business environment and health care to the Prime Minister. Several draft measures regarding education, new technology and digital diplomacy were also presented. The Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the Council’s work so far and agreed with all the proposed measures.
The Strategic council has received over 50 proposals and initiatives to its email digitalizacija@gov.si, which will be considered in its further work. The future goal of the Strategic Council for Digitalisation is to draw up a second package of specific proposals for systemic changes in digitalisation by mid-September.
