State Secretary Dovžan outlined the priorities of the Slovenian EU Council Presidency to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Đorđe Radulović at a video conference meeting. They also focused on resilience, the discussion on the future of Europe, and enlargement of the Union.

The two officials underlined the importance of maintaining the European perspective for the Western Balkan countries, whereby the progress of the candidate countries is based on their own merits and engagement to fully implement the commitments or reforms arising from the EU accession process. State Secretary Dovžan also updated Minister Radulović on the EU-Western Balkans summit that will be organised during the Slovenian Presidency.
