The two officials underlined the excellent and friendly relations between their respective countries, noting that there remain many unexplored opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, State Secretary Dr Raščan and Ambassador Gankhuurai signed an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Government of Mongolia on the international transport of passengers and goods by road. The Agreement will facilitate the smooth flow of transport by road and encourage trade of goods between the two countries. On this occasion, State Secretary Dr Raščan thanked the ambassador specifically for her dedicated help in overcoming logistical problems during the pandemic.

Ambassador Gankhuurai thanked Slovenia for its active role in enhancing cooperation between the two countries and deepening economic relations. State Secretary Dr Raščan concluded the meeting by wishing the Ambassador every success in the future.
