Slovenia calls for an immediate stop to malicious cyber activities
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Strengthening cybersecurity in the EU and its Member States is one the priorities of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU. Activities, collectively designated ‘Ghostwriter’, threaten our security and democratic principles of the EU, and run counter the norms of responsible state behaviour in cyberspace endorsed by all UN member states.
With the declaration by the High Representative Josep Borrell the EU has called on states to put an immediate stop to malicious cyber activities targeting individuals in a number of EU Member States and to respect the norms of responsible state behaviour in cyberspace.
