A third of electricity in Slovenia is produced from renewable sources
Use of renewable energy sources is increasing. In 2020, 33% of electricity in Slovenia was produced from renewable sources. According to provisional data, electricity production from renewable energy sources in the EU-27 in 2020 exceeded production from fossil fuels for the first time.
The 16th European Sustainable Energy Week will take place between 25 and 29 October 2021, this year under the slogan "Towards 2030: Reshaping the European Energy System". The program includes activities that promote energy saving, the transition to renewable energy sources and thus clean, safe and efficient energy to achieve climate and energy goals.
