The two officials discussed the EU-OACPS cooperation, particularly the final part of the preparations for signing the new Partnership Agreement between the EU and members of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (the Post-Cotonou Agreement). They also discussed bilateral relations between Slovenia and Angola, agreeing that the friendly relations between the two countries should be strengthened through enhanced cooperation in a number of areas.
President of the Council of Ministers of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) and Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs Téte António thanked Slovenia for its efforts in managing the dossiers on the EU-Africa partnership and on the OACPS during the term of its EU Council Presidency.
