In cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Slovenia, we have opened a call for a logo which would commemorate this important anniversary. From the numerous entries we have received, we have selected one that contains both Slovenian and Japanese motifs and clearly shows the importance of this year for Slovenian-Japanese relations. The chosen logo was designed by Mr. Shinnosuke Yamashita.
The logo below features the three peaks of the Slovenian Mt. Triglav and the red sun of the Japanese flag, two symbolic motifs of Slovenia and Japan. The number 30, which is shown in the colours of both the Japanese and Slovenian flags, represents the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties. The logo will be used for many events organised by the two embassies during 2022.
