The Government approved the second package of measures of the Strategic Council for Digitalisation, which contains 25 measures in the areas of public administration and digital society, the economy and business environment, new technologies, healthcare, education, digital diplomacy and green technologies.
The second package of measures focuses on a number of areas:
- public administration and digital society: high-speed broadband internet for all, the online publication of judgments and online transmission of court hearings, e-voting, citizens' access to open administrative files, improving the user experience of public administration e-services, digitalisation of the procedure for obtaining a driving licence;
- the economy and business environment: the introduction of the mandatory service of documents in electronic form to businesses, a national cybersecurity centre, a platform for copyright payment, a mandatory cashless payment option;
- new technologies: promoting the re-use of open public sector data, Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) running on blockchain technology, improving the accessibility of websites and mobile apps for vulnerable groups;
- education: an integrated digital learning environment with modern learning content, training and demonstration centres and laboratories for the development of technical, ICT and digital competences, the internationally comparable evaluation of scientific achievements in the field of ICT;
- healthcare: e-health patient record, digitising prescriptions, value based healthcare (VBHC), a key health personnel management platform, introduction of voice technologies to provide health professionals with a hands-free working environment;
- digital diplomacy: making cybersecurity a priority of Slovenian foreign policy, teaming up with leading universities in joint research projects;
- green technologies: corporate sustainability reporting and assessment, a platform for industrial residues and waste management.
