State Secretary Dr Stanislav Raščan met with the Minister of Economy and Planning of Saudi Arabia, Faisal Al-Ibrahim. In the focus of their talks was a mutual interest in strengthening cooperation between Slovenia and Saudi Arabia, particularly in the economy.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is Slovenia’s most important economic partner in the Gulf, with the value of the trade between the two countries constantly growing. The two high officials noted numerous opportunities to further boost bilateral cooperation in investments, new technologies, artificial intelligence, logistics and tourism, among other areas.
They also talked about cooperation in the framework of multilateral forums.
