Ambassador Skrt met with Finnish Speaker of the Parliament Vanhanen
Helsinki, 8 April 2022 - On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Slovenia and Finland, Ambassador Edvin Skrt visited the Speaker of the Finnish Parliament Matti Vanhanen.
In 2022, Slovenia and Finland mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The two countries have close friendly ties, regular political dialogue and excellent cooperation both bilaterally and in the European Union and other international forums.
The Ambassador talked with the Speaker Vanhanen about Slovenian-Finnish relations and presented the ongoing projects between the two countries. They discussed European security as well as the Finnish debate on the possibilities of NATO membership.
