The online parade for victory, in which democratic European leaders expressed solidarity with Ukraine, was held in response to Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, where Russian military forces are committing war atrocities against the Ukrainian people. According to the organisers, the Solidarity for Victory online parade aims to highlight that the brutal actions of the Russian aggressor army are unacceptable in the 21st century and that the democratic world expresses its absolute disagreement with the mass murder, genocide and suffering of innocent children, women, men and the entire Ukrainian nation.
