The Europe Day in Ulanbattar

The Europe day event in Ulanbataar, Mongolia was held on the 24th of May. The opening speeches were delivered by H.E. Ambassador of the European Union to Mongolia, Ms. Axelle Nicaise, H.E. Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ms. Battsetseg Batmunkh, and the Governor of Ulaanbaatar Mr. Sumiyabazar Dolgorsuren, the Governor of the Capital City and the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar. The Slovenian booth was promoting the Slovenian Green Nature and Green sustainable Tourism program.

More than sixty booths showcased Europe’s unique heritage, vibrant culture, tourism, and educational opportunities. Visitors were able to taste Europe through many authentic European products on display. Musicians and performers brought the richness of Europe’s heritage to the Mongolian audience with live music and cultural exhibitions.

 

High guests — among them, the EU Ambassador Ms. Axelle Nicaise, the Director-General of the Department for Europe and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Battungalag Gankhuurai and the Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar Mr. Sumiyabazar Dolgorsuren — visited the Slovenian booth, which was promoting the Slovenian Green Nature and Green Sustainable Tourism program.
