It was an introductory meeting aimed at presenting digitalisation challenges of the National Library of Slovenia to the minister. The Director of the library presented their digitalisation related plans. He also highlighted the issues related to the development of the dLib digital portal. dLib digital portal is the central point of access to the digital materials of the library and has been in operation for 15 years. The library director stressed the need and importance of a broader national portal in the field of e-cultural content. The Minister expressed her full support and desire for joint cooperation and the establishment of a digital library in Slovenia.
