The Minister pointed out that she and her colleagues are working to reduce the digital divide, both in the area of connectivity and in the area of inclusion of the most vulnerable groups, i.e. the socially vulnerable and the elderly. "We will address the digital divide at all levels, geographically, age, gender, social status," she said. She also highlighted the challenges regarding offensive and hate speech on social networks, especially on Twitter. "We will also raise digital competences for safe conduct in a virtual environment, and empower particularly the elderly to use digital tools.
