According to the bilateral agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary on visa representation in Morocco it is now possible to apply for a short term visa to visit Slovenia (Schengen visa) at the Embassy of Hungary in Rabat.

The previous bilateral agreement on visa representation in Morocco, conducted between Slovenia and Germany, has been cancelled and the applicants can no longer apply for a Schengen visa for Slovenia at the German Embassy in Rabat.

Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Cairo remains the competent authority to issue national long term visa type D for citizens of Morocco and to execute relevant procedural acts in procedures for obtaining Slovenian temporary residence permits.
