The Pledge was initiated by Denmark, and emphasises joint responsibility of states, tech companies, civil society and multilateral organizations to develop, use, and promote technology for the benefit of democracy and human rights.

Slovenia advocates for a trustworthy, human-centred and human rights-based approach to the development and use of digital and new technologies.

Slovenia is committed to the use of such technologies with the full respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, and the principles of rule of law and democracy.

Slovenia will strive for the joint responsibility of governments, multilateral organizations, civil society, and technology companies in order to ensure a trustworthy, human-centred and human rights-based approach to this ends.
