Government discusses budgets for the next two years

At today's meeting, the Government again discussed the budgets for 2023 and 2024, following the Office for Macroeconomic Analysis and Development's autumn forecast.

The new budgetary baselines are the result of the new economic reality in global markets and the projects of past governments, notably the previous government, for which budgetary funds were never earmarked. Today, the Government held a further debate on the priorities to be included in both budgets. The emphasis is on healthcare, green policies, and sustainable development. In the coming days, the Government will produce its draft budgets and submit them to the National Assembly on time.
