Prime Minister Dr Robert Golob hosted Milena Zupančič at a lunch and congratulated her on the Metod Badjura Award for Lifetime Achievement in Cinema, which she received at this year’s Festival of Slovenian Film.

Milena Zupančič is one of the greatest Slovenian film and theatre actresses, having received numerous awards for her work, including the Borštnik Ring Award, the Prešeren Award and the Golden Order of Merit for her creative oeuvre in Slovenian theatre and cinema and her support of the culture of solidarity, which she received in 2016.
