Slovenia has formally filed a declaration of intervention before the International Court of Justice in The Hague relating to the Ukraine vs Russian Federation proceedings for violations of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

In doing so, Slovenia joined most EU Member States and the wider international community, which have expressed strong political and legal support for Ukraine since the beginning of the military conflict.
