Prime Minister meets the representatives of the Slovenian Bishops’ Conference
Today, Prime Minister Dr Robert Golob received the representatives of the Slovenian Bishops’ Conference at the Podrožnik Villa.
The discussion followed the meeting of the Prime Minister with Pope Francis at the Vatican a month ago, at which good cooperation between Slovenia and the Holy See had already been underlined.
The discussion partnersexchanged views about current topics, including the coming 30th anniversary of the operations of the Slovenian Bishops’ Conference, the initiative for peace in the Balkans and relations between the church and the state. On this occasion, the Prime Minister highlighted the significance of dialogue and respect that form the foundation for maintaining regular dialogue in the future.
