Prime Minister meets with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal
Prime Minister Robert Golob met with João Gomes Cravinho, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Portuguese Republic, before the coalition summit. Their talks focused on the key topics of the agenda of the European Union. The Portuguese foreign minister expressed his country’s full support for Slovenia’s candidacy for non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council.

They agreed that their two countries have very similar views as regards support for the EU’s efforts to maintain the competitiveness of European industries. They also touched on renewable energy sources and the efficiency of drawing on EU funds.
