On 2 March 2023 Ambassador Sušnik presents her credentials to José Maria Neves, President of Cape Verde. The credentials ceremony, which included the raising of the Ambassador's country's flag on the roof of the Presidential Palace and the inspection of the Guard of Honour, took place at the Presidential Palace in Mindelo, Sao Vincente. On Monday 27 of February 2023 Ambassador Sušnik  presented copies of the credentials to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Rui Alberto de Figueiredo Soares.

On this occasion, Ambassador Sušnik also met with the Mayor of Mindelo Augusto Cesar Lima Neves, at the City Hall on 28 February 2023.

Ambassador Sušnik confirmed the commitment to further strenghten excellent bilateral relations and close cooperation in multilateral forums.
