Prime Minister Robert Golob and Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Robert Tajani have pledged ever closer cooperation between the two governments on migration, energy and joint efforts in the Western Balkans.

They have agreed that, in the current geopolitical situation, bringing the Western Balkans closer to the EU is a strategic project for the whole of Europe, in which the Member States closer to the region have a special role to play.
