Celebration of Europe day in China
This year's festival was dedicated to the presentation of tourism, with the re-opening of tourist trips between Europe and China after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The celebration took place in two parts of the garden. The booths of all 27 EU member states (the so-called cultural park), including the Slovenian booth, were set up in the first part.
At the Slovenian booth, attaché correspondents Katja Kolšek and Nina Pejič and local employee Victor Qi presented Slovenia's tourism with the help of the Slovenian tourist organization promotional material (brochures in Chinese language, roll-ups with the "I feel Slovenia" brand and other advertising material), briefly presented the rich Slovenian culinary delicacies and high-quality wine offer, as well as the long Slovenian tradition of beekeeping and the production of honey.
The central stage with live music was in the second part of the garden. The Ambassador of the European Union to China, H. E. Jorge Toledo Albiñana, gave the opening speech. The Slovenian Ambassador to China. H. E. Alenka Suhadolnik also participated in the event and visited the EU cultural park.
