"Police officers perform demanding tasks with commitment and self-sacrifice on a daily basis, ensuring safety for all residents of Slovenia, for which I am extremely grateful to them. That is why it saddens me to have been hearing recently about more and more attacks on them. It is unacceptable that police officers are subject to verbal and physical violence in their work. All acts of violence are despicable and, as such, I most strongly condemn them."
