Government decisions from the Government committee meetings
The Government adopted decisions establishing two public education institutions
The Government has adopted the decision establishing the Alma M. Karlin Professional Education Centre (Strokovni izobraževalni center Alme M. Karlin) and the decision establishing the Ravne na Koroškem School Centre (Šolski center Ravne na Koroškem).
The proposed decisions implement the Slovenian Government Recommendations to Responsible Ministries for a More Efficient Management of Public Institutions of 13 January 2022, whereby the full texts of the decisions establishing the two public education institutions have also been amended at the proposal of the Slovenian Government Office for Legislation.
The Ravne na Koroškem School Centre is the legal successor of two public education institutions: the Ravne na Koroškem Secondary School and the Ravne na Koroškem High School. The Decision Establishing the “Ravne na Koroškem School Centre” Public Education Institution combines both institutions into a single one – that is, the Ravne na Koroškem School Centre.
The Alma M. Karlin Professional Education Centre is the legal successor of the public education institution founded by the Ordinance Establishing the “Celje Secondary School for Catering and Tourism” Public Education Institution. The Decision Establishing the “Celje Secondary School for Catering and Tourism” Public Education Institution of 8 June 2010 harmonised the institution’s articles of association with the relevant legislation. Through this decision, the Celje Boarding School merged with the secondary school and the Inter-Company Educational and Training Centre was established. The latest Government decision amends the school’s name and details the procedure for appointing government representatives to the school council, as well as updates the entire text of the school’s articles of association.

The Government added a new project to its current 2023–2026 Development Programmes Plan: Trucks, All-Terrain Vehicles, Vans and Cars
The Government has included the Ministry of Defence project "Trucks, All-Terrain Vehicles, Vans and Cars of the Slovenian Armed Forces, the Slovenian Administration for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief, and the Ministry of Defence" into the current 2023–2026 Development Programmes Plan.
The purpose of this project is to purchase all-terrain vehicles, light trucks, vans and cars for the needs of the Slovenian Armed Forces and the Slovenian Administration for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief, and within a smaller scope also for the ministry's administrative staff. With the new vehicles, users will be able to perform their duties smoothly and efficiently. The purchase of zero-emission vehicles will contribute to achieving the green transition objectives in the state administration transport.
The new vehicles will replace the old, worn-out ones, which will improve working conditions and ensure a safer working environment. In addition, this will also increase the safety and security of staff at the Ministry of Defence in performing their duties, as well as that of other road users, foreign delegations and protected persons. Moreover, this will reduce the maintenance costs, which are significantly higher for older and worn-out vehicles.
The project's initial value is estimated at EUR 24,092,589, including VAT. The funding will be provided within the Ministry of Defence financial plan.
