Dear friends,
May the coming year be a year of opportunities for each one of us. Let us together build a society based on mutual respect and understanding. Let us pay special attention to the youngest among us. According to Save the Children, Slovenia is the most child-friendly country in the world. Let us strive to keep it that way.
It is our shared responsibility to create a safe and supportive environment where our children can develop their creativity and independence. My wish is that they grow up with respect for human rights and personal dignity, in a democratic and safe Slovenia, in a society where everyone feels accepted and valued.
Connectedness, respect, optimism and mutual support – this is the strength of our common future, which we should proudly pass on to future generations.
