The national spatial plan includes the following development projects:

- the installation of multipurpose (wet) detention basins (like in Vršca and Gozdnica), a study on whether the capacity of the Žovnek multipurpose water reservoir can be increased, and other irrigation projects,
- the construction and rearrangement of public utility infrastructure, and any other related projects necessary for the construction and operation thereof.
In accordance with Article 84 of the Spatial Planning Act (ZUreP-3), the national spatial plan will be put through a strategic environmental impact assessment.
At today's session, the Government approved the Agreement on the Amendments to the Strike Agreement, and authorised Minister of Public Administration Franc Props, Minister of Finance Klemen Boštjančič and Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Igor Papič to sign the Agreement. As the fiscal consequences of the August floods caused a delay in reforming the salary system for public employees, the unimplemented points II and III of the Strike Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Higher Education Trade Union, which was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, had to be amended. The Government negotiating team and the Higher Education Trade Union initialled the draft Agreement on the Amendments to the Strike Agreement on 19 January 2024.
