The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development has approved EU funding for the project National platform – Centre for Creativity.

As part of the EU co-funded project, the Museum of Architecture and Design will set up the Centre for Creativity as an interdisciplinary platform to support the cultural and creative sector. The national platform will provide a supportive environment and implement actions to develop and strengthen the potential of social and economic value of the cultural and creative sector. The project will thus provide public cultural goods in the field of the cultural and creative sector.

The project is implemented under Slovenia’s Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027, under the priority Innovative knowledge-based society and pursues the specific objective Enhancing sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs (small and medium-sized companies) and job creation in SMEs, including by productive investments (ERDF).

The project is worth 5,587,500.00 euros with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) contribution standing at a good 3.6 million euros, i.e., 3,657,517.50 euros.
