As part of the project, the Curricular and Extracurricular Activities Centre will set up new multi-purpose Roma centres and carry out various activities in newly established as well as existing centres. The project also covers extracurricular activities, thus increasing the inclusion of Roma children in the preschool education system. The aim is also to ensure that these children achieve better results in primary school, as well as increase the percentage of children who successfully complete primary school and continue their education at the secondary school level.

The project Together for Knowledge: implementing activities in multi-purpose Roma centres is implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027, under the priority Long-term care and health, and social inclusion and pursues the specific objective Promoting social integration of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion, including the most deprived persons and children.

The project is worth EUR 5,999,996.48, with the European Social Fund Plus contribution standing at a good EUR 5 million, i.e., EUR 5,099,997.01.
