EU funding for international visibility of Slovenian companies

The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development has approved EU funding for the call for proposals to co-finance individual presentations of companies in international fairs in the 2024-2028 period.

The EU co-funded call for proposals will finance the presentations of products and services of micro, small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) in international fairs in the 2024-2028 period. This will enhance the international competitiveness of Slovenian SMEs, which will give them the chance to introduce their products and services to international markets as well as enhance their chance of doing business with foreign partners.

The call for proposals to finance individual presentations of companies in international fairs in the 2024-2028 period will be implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027, priority Innovative knowledge-based society, specific objective Enhancing sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and job creation in SMEs, including by productive investments (European Regional Development Fund – ERDF).

The call for proposals worth 9,562,500 euros will recieve a European Regional Development Fund contribution of 8.5 million euros. 

There will be several deadlines to apply for the funding available under the call for proposals, which contributes to the realisation of the objectives set out in Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027. The first deadline for application submission is 4 September 2024 with 11 deadlines following until May 2028.
